  Hernan Perilla, Colombia

Hernan Perilla is a high school teacher at the Institucion Educativa Empresarial in Dosquebradas Risaralda, Colombia. He is an official representative on his county’s Disability Planning Board.

Hernan, who has a physical disability, founded the first business run by persons with disability in Columbia and is the founder of an association for rehabilitation and disability rights protection called the Association of Persons with Disability of Risaralda. He lives in Risaralda with his wife and children and holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and computer science.
